Buckingham Vintners joins forces with Argentine producer Domaine Vistalba
Buckingham Vintners is pleased to announce the addition of exciting Argentine producer, Domaine Vistalba to its portfolio. Working together, Buckingham Vintners and Domaine Vistalba have created a new brand for the UK market, Viñalba, which will be launched at the forthcoming Wines of Argentina Annual Tasting. The brand will feature three tiers which range from RSP £5.99 - £7.99 and include a fascinating range of Patagonian wines and a top flight of reserves.
Domaine Vistalba was founded in the early 1990's by Hervé Joyaux Fabre whose family has been making wine in Bordeaux for generations. He has established two wineries in very different Argentine locations: Fabre Montmayou in Mendoza and Infinitus in Rio Negro, Patagonia. As you would expect, the wines reflect the huge difference in climate and terroir of the two locations, but are united by their wonderful mix of Argentine passion and French savoir-faire.
The outstanding quality of Domaine Vistalba's wines, with their unique personality and superb terroir, was demonstrated at this year's inaugural Argentina Wine Awards where Fabre Montmayou's Malbec Gran Reserva 2005 was awarded the Malbec Trophy.
Jon Pepper, Marketing Manager at Buckingham Vintners comments; "We are thrilled to bits to have secured such a fantastic Argentine producer to join our portfolio. Hervñ Joyaux Fabre makes truly inspirational wines and we are really excited to have been given the opportunity to create a new joint venture brand which will develop the Argentine wine category and encourage consumers to trade up."
Diane Joyaux Fabre, Export Manager at Domaine Vistalba also comments; "everyone at Domaine Vistalba is looking forward to working with Buckingham Vintners who have proved themselves to be one of the UK's leading agencies. We are very confident about our new brand Viñalba; we very much look forward to launching it at the Wines of Argentina Annual Tasting and to introducing a raft of new consumers to the exceptional quality of Argentine wines."
