New Managing Director at Buckingham Vintners

Buckingham Vintners is delighted to announce the appointment of Graham Sumeray as Managing Director as of 4 April 2005. Cliff Roberson, founder and Chairman, said “we are really pleased to have attracted someone of Graham’s calibre to lead and develop the company in the next stage of its growth”.

Graham worked for Diageo for eight years, latterly as Managing Director of its New Business Ventures division, before which he was Business Development Director.

Commenting on the appointment, Graham said “Buckingham Vintners is a successful business with plenty of potential opportunities to grow. We will be looking to expand our own brands, in particular, Buckingham Estate, as well as our partner brands, such as 35 South and Santerra. We may selectively consider acquisitions”.
