Schenk increases its stake in Buckingham Vintners

Buckingham Vintners is pleased to announce that Schenk Holding of Switzerland has increased its stakeholding in its UK distributor.

Schenk is a pan-European organisation with wholly-owned wine production and distribution facilities throughout the continent with annual sales exceeding 16,000,000 cases (9 litre).

Since 1994, when Schenk made its initial investment in Buckingham Vintners, sales have increased dramatically. Further participation in the company was the next logical step to building and strengthening the company to compete more effectively within the UK market.

Cliff Roberson, Chairman of Buckingham Vintners, notes that "this further investment will be very useful in allowing us to give better value to our suppliers and customers in both the Own Label and Branded sectors".
